A directory. Not an electrician.
Panel Letter exists because homeowners with a non-renewal letter were landing on whoever paid for the top search ad. We collect public rules and public contractor pages so you can hand someone a calm printout.
What we do
We publish ten metro guides, an identification page, an insurers page, and sourced cost ranges. The product is the packet after the letter — what the panel is, what proof the carrier typically wants, who pulls the permit, who pulls the meter, and a price band we can link. Listings appear only when a company advertises this exact job on its own site and prints a license number. We do not scrape trade-association locators or publish a 50-state provider count.
What we do not do
- We do not perform electrical work, pull permits, or call the utility.
- We do not invent license numbers, phone numbers, reviews, or prices.
- We do not sell leads to Angi, Thumbtack, or an affiliate program. That wiring is intentionally off.
- We do not give legal or insurance advice.
- We do not operate a browse-by-state electrician dump, a generic HVAC/electrical city mill, or a “find a certified electrician” locator. Those already exist.
Money
Homeowners can request quotes on each city page and at /request. Those leads go to Panel Letter (nomadicforgellc@gmail.com), not to Angi, Thumbtack, or an affiliate network. Licensed electricians who want to buy exclusive leads can write from the for-electricians page. We do not scrape or email contractors.
Corrections
If a permit office, utility rule, or contractor page has changed, the fix is to update the city Markdown and the source list. Prefer official .gov and utility PDFs over blogs when both exist.
